Begum Hazrat Mahal - Warrior Queen of Awadh

Lucknow, 1857. The last Nawab of Awadh has been exiled by the British to Calcutta and his beautiful young queen, Hazrat Mahal has stayed back to fight the British for Awadh and for her son’s right to the throne. She gathers all the rebels into an army and holds the British Residency, a walled cantonment, to siege for nearly five months. As the battles rage across the walls, love and passion rage within homes. What will be the outcome? Will Hazrat be able to bring the British to their knees?
